Program Highlights

The Department of Radiation Oncology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) has experienced unprecedented growth over the last several years. With this growth, we are excited offer an Adult & Pediatric CNS fellowship. The fellowship will focus primarily on CNS for both adults and pediatric populations.

The fellowship will focus primarily on CNS and pediatric oncology. We will provide ample opportunity to learn how best to treat CNS, skull base, spine and pediatric patients, particularly in definitive, metastatic, adjuvant, re-irradiation, recurrent/persistent disease settings, in addition to research opportunities. The CNS Oncology Program is one of the busiest in the country treating both definitive and metastatic disease. The trainee will have opportunity to gain expertise in gamma knife LINAC based radiosurgery and proton therapy treatment modalities.  The trainee will have ample opportunity for clinical and translational research as well as funding.

 

Eligibility Criteria

• Successfully completed an ACGME accredited residency in Radiation Oncology

• Be board certified/eligible by the ABR

• Be able to secure the appropriate VISA for appointment

• Be fluent in English language

• Able to obtain an Ohio Medical License
