Program Highlights

The Department of Radiation Oncology at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC – James) has experienced unprecedented growth over the last several years. With this growth, we are excited offer a brachytherapy fellowship. The fellowship will focus primarily on GU and GYN brachytherapy, but there will be opportunities to learn other forms of brachytherapy as well. Participants in the brachytherapy fellowship will become competent in both prostate LDR brachytherapy and HDR gynecologic intracavitary and interstitial brachytherapy procedures including vaginal cylinders, tandem and ring/ovoids, hybrid intracavitary/interstitial applicators, and full interstitial implants. Participants will be expected to achieve independence procedurally and in treatment planning.
