To complete our medical team, we are looking for a Chief of Clinic with an activity rate between 80% and 100% starting on May 1, 2025, or as agreed.
Context
The Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois (CHUV) is one of the five university hospitals in Switzerland. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and training.
Our UNIL-CHUV Oncology Department brings together clinical and cancer research in a spirit of innovation. It includes the services of medical oncology, immuno-oncology, radio-oncology, and hematology. It also integrates the Lausanne branch of the Ludwig Institute for Cancer Research (LICR) for cancer research, particularly in the field of immunotherapy.
Led by Professor Fernanda Herrera, the Radio-Oncology Service has around forty collaborators. Radiotherapy research at CHUV aims to integrate the latest technological and biological advances to offer more personalized, less invasive, and more effective treatments to cancer patients. The focus is on innovation, reducing side effects, and improving patients' quality of life.
This research relies on an experimental radiotherapy platform that allows all types of irradiation, linked to imaging, and on experimental models of tumors and healthy tissues, to develop the transfer from the laboratory to the clinic.
