First announcement – save the date

The Wolfsberg Meeting Series on Molecular Radiation Biology/Oncology was successfully reinitiated in June 2023 after several meeting cancellations due to the reconstruction of the Wolfsberg Castle Conference Centre and the COVID-19 pandemic. Now we are looking forward to our next meeting in June 2025.

Founded in 1997, this meeting series is considered one of the international top-level meetings in the field. It brings together basic scientists in molecular, cell, tumour and radiation biology with preclinical and clinical scientists who work in the field of experimental radiation oncology. The design of the conference, which is held in a special setting and includes intense poster sessions, has always enabled a special conference spirit and discussion of specific topics with potential impact on translational research and perspectives for future clinical application.

After the success of the meeting last year, the location of next year’s meeting will be again the Hurdalsjøen Hotel, Norway, which is similar to the Wolfsberg Castle as it is surrounded by nature.

We are already composing an exciting programme for the meeting, to which we look forward to welcoming former and new participants. The programme structure and the names of the invited speakers will be published soon. The circulation of the announcement and call for abstracts will start in the autumn 2024.
