Invitation from AAPM
Dear Medical Physics Residents and trainees,
The Brachytherapy Subcommittee of the Therapy Physics Committee seeks to evaluate the state of brachytherapy training in CAMPEP-accredited residency programs. A survey team was selected to create two surveys: (1) for program directors and (2) for current residents and recent residency graduates. The survey for program directors was conducted during the Summer of 2021. This survey for medical physics residents and trainees has been reviewed and approved by the Education Council, Professional Council, and Executive Committee of the AAPM. Additional rationale for this survey and plans for the data can be found on the survey landing page in the link below.
We kindly ask for your assistance in completing this survey. The survey has 26 questions and should take approximately 15-25 minutes to complete. There is an option to save progress and complete at a later time, if needed. Please complete the survey by April 1st 2022.

For those completing this survey, the American Brachytherapy Society (ABS) has generously donated 200 one-year memberships or extensions, as appropriate, at the residency rate for up to two years from the completion of residency. Information to take advantage of this offer is available at the end of the survey.
Questions regarding the survey can be sent to the BTSC Survey Unit: Susan Richardson, Chris Melhus, Sam Simiele, and Manik Aima [ 2022.UN72@aapm.org ].
Thank you in advance for your assistance!
