It is with utmost concern and sadness that ESTRO is following the developments of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. The ESTRO Board firmly condemns this act of aggression, which is in open contradiction with our values of cooperation and community.

We stand in solidarity with our Ukrainian colleagues and all of those affected by the war. Our thoughts are with the many patients who are being deprived of adequate care.

ESTRO is a society without borders, devoted to international exchange in science and education. We hope for a swift resolution of the conflict, and we fully support the European Cancer community’s appeal to provide access to cancer treatment to patients in need.
