Evolving RTT practice with global issues and expectations: How can we adapt?
Amy Dodd, United Kingdom;
Nigel Anderson, Australia
The profession of radiation oncology continues to evolve with the rapid onset of practice changing technologies. In combination with this technological change, the changing global landscape has the real potential (and in some cases, is already) to impact practice and expectations in the RTT profession. The presentations in this session will delve deeper and provoke thinking into the current and future opportunities for the integration of sustainability practices into our workflows, post-pandemic lessons learnt and how these can be adopted moving forward, and preparing radiation oncology departments for cyber attacks- a real threat for a profession that relies on information technology platforms to deliver care.
