Dr Vibeke Nordmark Hansen did her undergraduate studies in Mathematics and Physicsis at Aarhus University, Denmark, followed by an M.Sc. in “Health and Radiation Physics” at MacMaster University in Hamilton, Canada. Vibeke did her clinical training at Herlev University hospital, Denmark. After moving to the UK she returned to studies and did a Ph.D. on EPID dosimetry, after a short spell as post Doc she returned to clinical Radiotherapy Physics at the Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH). Here she has been head of RT planning & Imaging and has implemented EPID dosimetry into the clinic. She is engaged in the Radiotherapy Physics courses run by the RMH, and teaches at two ESTRO courses. Vibeke was member of the IPEM in-vivo dosimetry working party. She was appointed as head of Radiotherapy Physics at the Laboratory of Radiation Physics at Odense University Hospital in October 2018. 1st of April 2021 Vibeke became head of RT physics at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark.
