Pierfrancesco Franco is a Medical Doctor and Radiation Oncologist working as a Consultant at the Department of Oncology, Radiation Oncology of the University of Turin Hospital in Turin, Italy, committed to combine patients care and clinical research in the field of oncology. He is now appointed as Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology and runs the clinical and research programs on gastrointestinal, head and neck and breast cancers. He serves the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) as chair of the Young Committee. He is also member of the core faculty of the European School of Oncology (ESO), particularly involved in the activities of e-ESO fostering online education in clinical oncology.
