Falcon 2022 Online Course - Prostate Cancer

This delineation workshop is aimed at all radiation oncology professionals who want to improve their contouring skills for prostate cancer; from the young radiation oncologist in training to the experienced radiation oncologist who wants to hold his/her current institutional delineation guideline against the currently available evidence from the medical literature. The workshop brings the live delineation workshop from the annual ESTRO conference to your doorstep.

The workshop aims and learning outcomes are to learn to contour according to the currently available evidence and good practices.  This includes:

  • Knowledge on prostate anatomy and imaging in the primary and postoperative setting.
  • Learn to recognize the anatomical landmarks needed for proper delineation.
  • Learn about the considerations taken on when to include or not to include certain regions into the clinical target volume.
  • Compare and benchmark your own contours with the expert contours and the contours of fellow attendee’s from other centers.

These online delineation workshops are aimed at junior clinical or radiation oncologists who want to improve their contouring skills or at more senior specialists who want to refresh and validate their knowledge and skills in this field.
