ESTRO-ASTRO: Patient reported outcomes in radiation oncology - time to make them mandatory in clinical practice?
In this session, various aspects of patient reported outcomes (PROs) in radiation oncology will be discussed. After an introduction to the subject, the benefits and limitation of longitudinal PRO collection, selection of the most appropriate PROs and patient groups, integration in the departments workflow and possible barriers for implementation will be addressed. Finally, the possibilities to use PROs for the generation of NTCP models will be discussed.
