Use of an adequate methodology and statistics are essential to provide accurate and non-biased results when performing research. The talk will focus on key points that will help researchers perform high quality research that, ultimately, could be considered for publication in ESTRO journals, such as Radiotherapy & Oncology or Clinical and Translational Radiation Oncology. This points are related to 1) the design of the study and all the methodological work that needs to be performed prior to conducting the research, 2) basic elements of data analysis and 3) appropriate presentation and discussion of results.
