Overview: Focusing on leadership the speakers in this session will elaborate the role of RTTs in research, teaching and management moving their own profession into the future. Moving on from discussing the various challenges in teaching and management, and showcasing RTT led research, the necessary skill-sets for these three areas will be explained. Furthermore, the speakers will highlight how to motivate and manage colleagues, staff or students and other key accountabilities and responsibilities required to successfully take a leading role in teaching or research as well as to effectively lead the operation of a large radiation therapy center.
